Boot Camp by Todd Strasser

“Boot camp” is a fiction book wrote by Todd Strasser. I know, some people do not like fiction books, just like I don’t but this one of the book that relate to real life stories.

The book is about a young boy name Garrett who was sent to a boot camp for troubled teens. Garrett accusation of been sent to Lake Harmony boot camp is that he is going out with his teacher, who is eight years older than him. Her mom, with a high class, cannot stand seen his child behavior, decided to send him to the camp. Garrett believes he doesn’t belong there.

Lake Harmony is a place where troubled and misbehaving teenagers are sent to, to get the best education and to respect their authorities. Garrett was known as a smart child in school. He has good grades her parents are proud of, and he does his best to make her parent proud. But one thing he couldn’t help was been away of Sabrina his girlfriend, also that used to be his teacher.

“ You don’t get out by giving them what you think they want. You don’t get out until you are what they want.” As long as your parents signed the contract and paying four thousands dollars a month, you are have no right to be out of lake Harmony until you are the child your parent want. Lake harmony had an insight secret. The treated the kids bad, abused them until they get to be the robot their parents wanted. No parents knew because their cover was hard than a metallic door. Garrett tried his best, spent almost a year in lake Harmony within he tried to ran away but couldn’t go far than he was dreaming of.

Lake Harmony camp secret couldn’t be hidden for longer, the metallic door flew away by the wind. Garrett did made that happened. Parents found out more about Lake harmony boot camp.

I recommended this book, because you learned more about teenagers like you or children, and the way to make the right choices in life. What I wrote was not all, but you need to read it, to believe it.

I recommand this book to evey teenager of my age. This book inspire me, as it will also to you. We do fall in love easily, but is it a true love? is it the right guy? We don't really know. We need to take things seriously those days. It happened to nancy is a nonfiction book, from a cover girl that wanted us to know and learn more about life. And that HIV can get to anybody. After she was rape she found out that the boy had left her with HIV symptom that began to develop and destroying or causing some infections to her body. Girls BE careful, and choose the right one!
