Sonnet 4

Sonnet 4 wrote by Huy Hung is about falling apart. The theme of this poem is the separation of two love. For example:
"Cradle my heart and sing the night away,
Cast my soul into your oblivion,
Let me malinger with your creation,"
I could say by this words obviously the first line that the night away is taking the love away. So far I never have a break up but with my friends that did I think love will be something that could not be easy to be separate apart. This poem has also have the same theme as some others poem of apart wrote by Huy Hung

The bee surprise

Once upon a time,
So far in the country of mine,
happen to be the girl, that play
the bee, she is playing with everyday day.
Her head over the bee,
She thinks to be,
talking with a bee.

The bee always next to her
the colorful bee with talk with her.
Bee her diary book,
Bee every walk she took.
One time, came the miserable,
day, when the mother nature,
separate their way.

Bee, the cute handsome insect
lost on the way home, to detect.
detect on the girl.

Three days without
a signal of the precious bee out,
sad was the girl face,
the course of the way to the bee race
against herself,
on the way to look for the bee itself,
against her own shades for go fast
but so far she could, her tears last.

Five days later,
the bee came after,
after all the races made
Bee come back fade,
and with her family
and the happily.

the girl face smile
and all the mile
that separate them
is now near and close

It was an upon a time
It all happen.

This poem wrote by me Peniel Ahama, has the affection of friendship between a bee and a girl. My thoughts before write this poem is that, i think about something that could be unbelievable and that could be happen in the upon a time. So I think about it. And I love writing and I wish one day I could be a writer. Poetry is a way to tell what you are feeling in some words. It is to impress the reader, to visualizing the action by words. So thinking to write a story about a bee and a girl. The theme about my poetry define " love''. I think that love is the best thing on earth. If you love everybody as friend there will not be a fight, nothing bad between each other. The earth will be more a better place to ever live on. I hope you love this poem.

Still I rise

Still I rise, wrote by Maya Angelou. That I dedicate to all the haters, whatever they think I am, whatever bad they say to me, I just wan to tell them that I still rise. Every body has a mistake and they just have o found their own way to get rid of it, talking to people about my bad attitudes are not the right way to make things better. Just let you know hater that taking care of yourself or read a book for more knowledge is better than talking about people behind their back because of some misunderstood and be the perfect one in front of people doesn't gain nothing.
Maya Angelou poem, saying:
"You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I'll rise."
I am proud of myself the way I am. You go behind talk about me and come back thinking, I am cool with it. I am open, but just let you know that at the second of this minute that you will talk about me and laugh behind my back as you always do, this poem still dedicate for you. See yourself before talk about me. Cause nobody is perfect.
The theme of the poem about my own knowledge is " I still rise whatever you think." This poem is one of my favorite and I still believe in myself and perseverance, your bad thought will never bring me down.

No air

Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown sang this song, " No air". There were a lot of hyperbole that I notice like:
"I walk, I ran, I jump, I flew
Right off the ground to flow to you
No gravity to hold me down for real."
This exaggeration is to improve the love and how he can for attend her.
" If you ain't here, I just can't breath
there is no air, no air"
What a big hyperbole, without there is no air to breath. Actually I think this what i feel, about my crush and thanks for this hyperbole to explain this feeling.

I, Too, Sing America

I, too, America, a poem wrote by one of my favorite writer, Langston Hughes.
" I am a darker brother", This line express who he is. They send him to the kitchen when company comes. Because of who he is, too darker to sit in with the company. But I laugh, eat well, grow well. Because he doesn't care. He accepts every thing. But tomorrow I'll be at the table and nobody 'll dare say to me"eat in the kitchen". Because he believes in the future, and believe in himself.
I think the mood of the poem is the believe in the future.

Bronx Masquerade Poetry Response

Bronx masquerade poetry response,
Chankara troupe chapter page 12- 15.

Chankara is a girl, who get bit up by a boy( boyfriend), as the same happen to her sister.
Now Chakara has a tattoo, as the book say. About me, boys think they are the main thing and as some book says. Girls cannot be bit up by a boy I think this is a discrimination, against the law. I think the congress should do something about it. Like" any boy that would have their hand on a girlfriend or wife will be punish". And more about the Husband and wife. Man think they are all that, but they are just a piece. There were a wife who get bit up by her husband. And she get tired because every time the man have a problem at job or he is not alright when he came home and a little thing happen he bits his wife in front of the kids and sometimes the kids are the victim.
Chankara is one of those victim in the book. He gets bit up by his boyfriend and didn't take it easy as her sister who also get bit up by her boyfriend. Moreover there were a poem call "bruised love" that have connection to what happen to her. I dare teenagers and everyone to read this book'' The Bronx masquerade.

Poetry responses to Bronx Masqueral

The character in the book Bronx Masquerade is a guy telling what he feels about the way the Black live. Wesley make me more understand why all my poetry wrote in class is all about me. The poem explain what you think. Poem for me is a writing of bottom of heart. I could reveal that most of my poem are from my dairy book. Poem is a way to explain and describe yourself into words, and sentences.
For example Wesley describes the way the Black live and what he thinks about in and moreover the Harlem place. I could connect this poem to the California love song. The both describe the way their home place is. And talk about the best and the bad thing about their country.
In conclusion from reading all poem so far, I found out that many and teenager should know what is poem. Because it inspires about what the future could be, and even you could found out that you are great writer... It does to me.

The poem Stopping by woods on a snowy evening by Robert Frost create a tired mood, because reading the poem, the horse is tired, no stop and got a lot of work to do, and alone in the woods. The poetic advices does Frost use in this poem is the rhyme scheme. At the end of the poem the author repeat the same line.
"And miles to go before I sleep." I think he repeats himself for explain and remember the main idea, to the reader and why they are not suppose to stop. Moreover the meaning of: it is getting late, night.
The speaker is reading tired. Because he is getting into the poem words.
I connect with the poem because sometimes coming from Gym and work you feel tired and the work are not done the same as before the gym.
